BIOGRAPHY

I am LEONID STADNIK. I was born on the fifth of August in 1970 in a small Ukrainian village PODOLYANTSI. It is situated in Zhitomor region, Chudniv district. I was growing as an ordinary boy playing with my friends. But when I was approximately 10 I noticed that I started growing faster that the rest of my friends. When I was 15 my height was already 2 meters 17 centimetres. Due to my height many things were difficult for me. Even to sit at the school desk was a problem for me. I liked to learn very much. All school subjects came easy to me. Many people advised me to become a basketball player but I didn’t see my future in sport. I was dreaming about quite different things.

I was born in a farmer’s family. From the very childhood I was brought up to be honest, hard working, and  to love my native land and soil. I know that maybe to many people it can seem strange but I was dreaming to work on my farm.

I finished school and entered the agricultural university from which I graduated in 1992. . Of course all this time I continued to grow. My height was about 2 meters 40 centimetres.
I began to work as a vat in our local collective farm (in the soviet times we had so called collective farms). I liked my work very much but the location of this collective farm was in the distance of 7 km from my home I had been working on this collective farm for 11 years. Every day I had to get up at 5 a.m, because at 6 : 30 I had to be on my working place. I was the chief vat and when the Soviet Union collapsed all collective farms collapsed too. I can say it was total collapse of the whole system. In 2003 I had to leave my work.  
 Now I am dealing with my own farm. I have some land and I grow fruits and vegetables. I live now in my own house in my native village with my mother and sister. I have a lot of work about the house and very often people from my village ask for my help in treating domestic animals. However I find some free time for reading books and work on my computer. I like to ''walk'' around the world using internet. The access to internet was submitted to my by Kiev firm Data Group.
Speaking about my interests it is first of all reading and computers. Of course it is also growing different kinds of plants.

Now I am 36. The British specialists examined me and said that my growing is stopped. It was very good news for me. But I am very-very tall comparing to other people. That is not a pleasant thing for me as it courses many problems. First of all because of my height I am still young man can not be very transportable. It is impossible for me to get on any car. Anyway I am optimist and I think that using internet I will be able to find many friends, support and may be even work.
